#61 - Dave Vandenberg Is Having A FKN Great Time

This week's episode is a shorter one, but one that is equally as important as any other show. It features the co-founder of the wonderful FKN Bread in San Juan Capistrano, Dave Vandenberg.

Dave and his wife Bree (who unfortunately couldn't join Dave on the show on the day we recorded) started making sourdough bread during the initial shut-down phases of the pandemic - just as so many others did as well. However, they have now parlayed their newfound success into an instantly beloved storefront in the heart of San Juan Capistrano. I sit down with Dave right at the close of business, to talk about the origins of FKN Bread, the humor of its name, transitioning to baker from chef, and the future of this instant classic.
